A Fond Farewell at the Cock and Bottle

Peter Meadley is retiring from the Cock and Bottle in Morden, after 24 years and ten months with Hall and Woodhouse. Peter began at the Rose and Crown in Lytchett Matravers in 1985, he then moved to the Cock and Bottle and has built the pub into a successful, traditional food pub. Peter explained, “I am looking forward to retiring, I plan to use the time to relax! I’d like to travel around the UK and I have a strong interest in classic motor bikes and cars so I can use my time to pursue this interest.”

Mark Woodhouse presented Peter with a bronze badger to mark the occasion. “It has been a pleasure having Peter work with us over the years, he has done a fantastic job in the Cock and Bottle and we wish him a wonderful retirement!”

Hall and Woodhouse have appointed Paul and Patricia Solway to continue running the Cock and Bottle and they are wished every success with continuing to build upon the reputation Peter built.
