Hall and Woodhouse proudly have three pubs who won awards in the annual Morning Advertiser Awards. The company would like to congratulate the below for their achievements.
Antony, Barbara and the team at the True Lovers Knot, Blandford won Best Tenanted/Lease pub in the South West before winning the overall category. Antony has built up an amazing repertoire of awards, each one a fantastic achievement. The level of detail undertaken by Antony, Barbara and the team surpasses most other pubs which is why they are often congratulated for their efforts.
Gary and the team at the Wheelwright, Colyford won the best food pub for the South West region. Gary would like to thank his team of 6 full time chefs, including Damon Ralph his head chef. The Wheelwright goes the extra mile to provide unique and quirky dishes such as sausages made with Poacher’s Choice.
Simon and Sarah and their team at the Kings Arms, Hampton Court, won the South East Best New Comer Award. Simon and Sarah took on the tenancy for the Kings Arms in September 2008 and had no prior experience in the industry so this is a fantastic achievement.
The Morning Advertiser Awards are one of the most prestigious set of awards in our industry. They aim to seek out the best pubs and tenants/managers in the UK and acknowledge and commend their great achievements under an array of categories, ranging from best tenanted/lease pub to best family pub. This year three of our tenanted pubs have been awarded regional winners.
"This is proof that talented, hard-working landlords and landladies can still attract customers wanting to experience the unique atmosphere of the Great British Pub. They thoroughly deserve this public recognition of their achievement." said Paul Charity, editor of the Morning Advertiser.
