After the first 12 months support programme we offer on-going support which covers all aspects of running your business.
Marketing
Marketing your pub effectively is an important tool to develop your business. Your Area Manager will help you develop the appropriate marketing ideas for your business.
We will organise flyers, promotions and incentives to help you with your marketing. We also provide marketing kits and point of sale to promote both our own brands and those supplied by third party suppliers.
Badger Times
We produce a bi-monthly newsletter especially for our business partners. This contains supplier deals, updates on what we are upto, as well as hints and tips for your business.
Gaming Machine Management
We retain Leisure Machine Solutions services for advice on all aspects of gaming machines. This includes Amusements with Prizes (AWP), Skills with Prizes (SWP) and pool tables.
Buying Group
The Leisure Supply Group are our nominated buying group allowing individual businesses to join forces in order to be able to benefit from the best possible prices for all sorts of items, from food to credit card machines to bottle fridges. Membership to this group is free for all Hall and Woodhouse Business Partners.
Ratings Advice
We retain G L Hearn to act as our ratings advice specialists and take up appeals on our behalf. There is no cost to you to use their services for advice and appeals on your business rates.
Telesales & Distribution
We have a dedicated team of telesales advisors who will ring you to take your orders, and tell you about new products that are available and any promotions we are running. If you have a problem with an order you have placed or a product you have received then Telesales are also your contact point.
We deliver our drinks via our own distribution team and our draymen are respected for their efficiency and service.
Beer Quality
We take pride in producing excellent beers that are only available on draught in our own pubs. Our Beer Quality Auditors visit each pub 3 times a year to help you keep and sell our beer to the best quality possible. Our technical service team are also contactable 24 hours a day for help and advice on the running of your cellar and the pumps in your bar.
Office Support /'The Badger Line'
Our office team are on hand to provide you with support for credit control, logging maintenance issues and any other queries. You will be assigned a member of our office team who will act as your contact.
We also operate 'The Badger Line' which you can use at any time to find out what is happening with any issues you have raised previously. We promise to get back to you with an update within 24 hours.
Business Review Meetings
Alongside your normal regular visits your Area Manager will visit you twice a year to conduct a full Business Review meeting. The aim of this meeting is to understand where your business is currently and what support is required going forward.
Repairs
The responsibility for repairs falls to both Hall and Woodhouse and you. There is a detailed allocation list which you will be provided with by your Area Manager during your pre-change meeting. However, as a rough guide all non-structural repairs will be your responsibility (i.e. if a window pane breaks) and all structural repairs will be our responsibility (i.e. if a roof partially collapses).
Legislation
All businesses are affected by on-going legislation changes. We monitor legislation changes and aim to keep you informed on anything that will specifically affect you.
